Drew Szuch Secures Ligier JFC Pole for VIR

ALTON, Va. (September 19, 2025) – Drew Szuch secured the pole in Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) competition at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) on Friday afternoon. Posting a 1:57.093 lap, Szuch bettered Beckham Jacir (No. 7 STONICA / BELL / OMP / P1Doks / LC Racing Team Ligier JS F4) by 0.205 seconds. Szuch’s Berg Racing teammate Harbir Dass (No. 23 Northcoast Medical Group / Dubby Energy / Dass Psych LLC / Berg Racing Ligier JS F4) will line up third for Race 1.

Roman Felber (No. 73 BioLongevity Labs / TownHall / Rebol / DWT / Matrix Mind Water / Phantom Fireworks / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) recorded the fastest lap of qualifying. However, during the post-session impound, a technical violation was discovered, which resulted in a stewards decision to delete all of his lap times from the session. As a result, he will start Saturday’s race from the back of the grid.
