While Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) contested their final round of the 2025 season at Barber Motorsports Park last month, one of the championship’s most successful alums announced an exciting next step in his motorsport career. 2021 F4 U.S. Champion Noel León announced that he will join Campos Racing for the 2026 Formula 2 season, continuing his climb on the Road to F1.
Completing Campos’ two-car lineup, León will join Nikola Tsolov as teammates at the winning organization.
The 2019-2020 NACAM Formula 4 Champion, León joined F4 U.S. in 2021, winning two races and recording 10 podiums en route to the championship title. From there, he moved to Formula Regional European Championship in 2022, and Euroformula Open Championship in 2023, before joining FIA F3 for the 2024 season, where he finished 10th in the Driver Championship as a rookie. With six podiums across his two-year F3 campaign, León is set to take the next step in his career by graduating to F2 next season.
“It is an honor to take this important step in my career and join Campos Racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship,” said León. “I am truly grateful for the team’s trust and for the support of my sponsors, whose commitment has made this dream possible. Campos is a team with great history and experience, and I am fully committed to learning from them and giving my very best in this new chapter.”
