LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 13, 2026) – Beckham Jacir earned his third consecutive pole in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) Gen. 1 Class. With a 1:25.798 lap, Jacir (No. 7 Stonica / Bell / OMP / P1DOKS / Behind the Wheel / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) set a new track record at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where he will lead the field down the starting grid for Race 1 this afternoon. Lazaro Bainotti (No. 11 Fundacion Fangio Rus seguros Cordoba deportes / Speed Factory Ligier JS F4) will line up second with Ava Hanssen (No. 26 One Powersports / Chiropractic Center of Elkhorn / NGK / Badger Mats Ligier JS F4) in third. Alexander Savage (No. 33 Kyma Boats / G Tech Motorsports Ligier JS F4) and AJ Abdullah (No. 21 Freedom Detox / Grid State Digital / Berg Racing Ligier JS F4) will round out the top-five starters.
Posting a 1:25.049 lap, Canadian Edward Kennedy (No. 30 MLT Motorsports Ligier JS F422) secured his second pole of the season and will be at the front of the Gen. 2 field when the lights go out.

In practice, Kennedy topped the Gen. 2 Class charts and maintained a 0.852-second advantage.
Jacir led the session for the Gen. 1 class with a lap time of 1:26.750, bettering championship rival Lazaro Bainotti by just 0.188 seconds. Matching their lineup for today’s race, Ava Hanssen was third quick in practice.
