Beckham Jacir Takes Ligier JFC Pole; Wisconsinite Ava Hanssen Starting Second at Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (May 15, 2026) – For the second consecutive event, Beckham Jacir secured the Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) pole, topping the Gen. 1 Class charts with a 2:21.316 lap. Wisconsin native Ava Hanssen (No. 26 One Powersports / Chiropractic Center of Elkhorn / NGK / Badger Mats Ligier JS F4) captured second, marking her career-best qualifying effort in the Gen. 1 class. Just 0.171-seconds separated the two drivers, who both returned to the series for a sophomore season.

In the Ligier JFC Gen. 2 class, Jack Speth (No. 07 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) initially posted the quickest time, but a technical violation resulted in the deletion of all his lap times, leading him to start from the rear of the field.
