Roman Felber Takes First-Career Pole in Ligier JFC at NJMP

MILLVILLE, N.J. (August 2, 2025) – For the first time in his career, Roman Felber (No. 73 BioLongevity Labs / TownHall / Rebol / DWT / Matrix Mind Water / Phantom Fireworks / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) will lead the field down the starting grid after securing the pole position for the Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) on Saturday morning. Gastón Irazú (No. 42 Elia Group / Baly / Canal 4 / Ancap / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) will line up second and looks to extend his championship lead over the rest of the field. Berg Racing’s Harbir Dass (No. 23 Northcoast Medical Group / Dubby Energy / Dass Psych LLC / Berg Racing Ligier JS F4) will close out the top-three starters when the lights go out at 4:15 p.m. ET today.

The weekend kicked off yesterday with two practice sessions. Felber set the fastest lap in the first session with a lap time of 1:20.694. Just 0.037 seconds behind was Irazú, who entered the weekend as the championship points leader. 

The second practice brought a switch, as Irazú topped the charts, with Felber following in second. 

Showing speed all day, Drew Szuch (No. 28 Berg Racing Ligier JS F4) was third in both practices. He entered the weekend second in points, just 17 markers behind Irazú.
